Asiea Naqash visits Wanihama fire-sufferers | KNO

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 06 (KNO) : Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development, Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education, and PDD, Asiea Naqash today visited the family of Wanihama fire incident. On the occasion, the Minister announced cash compensation of Rs 50,000 from her Constituency Development Fund to the victim family. The affected family had lost the house in a devastating fire on Saturday. The Minister assured the affected family that she would ensure adequate compensation for them so that they can recuperate from the losses soon. She issued on- spot directions to the concerned officials to expedite the process of compensation for the family. Earlier, the Minister also visited Vice Chancellor Kashmir University, Dr Khursheed Iqbal to condole the demise of his brother.(KNO)
